Terms of Service

1.Who you contract with

These Terms form a contract between you (“you”, “User”) and FoodWeb AI Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company number 16018953), with its registered office at 2 Castle Close, London SW19 5NH, United Kingdom (“ROA”, “we”, “us”).

2.Eligibility

ROA is a service for kitchens and food businesses. By signing up you confirm you are at least 16 years old and have the authority to act for the kitchen you register.

3.Accounts

  • One person per account. You're responsible for what happens under your login.
  • Keep credentials secure and tell us promptly at yago@foodweb.ai of any compromise.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

4.Plans, billing, taxes

  • Paid plans are billed in advance via Stripe.
  • All fees are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise. You're responsible for VAT / sales tax where applicable.
  • We may change prices for future billing periods with at least 30 days' notice.
  • No refunds for partial periods unless required by law.

5.Acceptable use

You won't:

  • upload content that infringes intellectual property, is unlawful, or includes other people's personal data without a lawful basis;
  • attempt to break, probe, or reverse-engineer the service or circumvent rate limits;
  • use ROA to send spam, malware, or to scrape third-party sites without authorisation;
  • use the AI features to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or designed to deceive.

6.Your content

You keep ownership of recipes, menus, and other content you upload (“Your Content”). You grant ROA a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate the service for you.

We do not use Your Content to train general-purpose models. We do not sell Your Content.

7.Our content

The ROA software, brand, and documentation are owned by us. We grant you a non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use them as part of the service.

8.AI features

ROA uses third-party LLMs (Google Vertex AI: Gemini and Anthropic Claude) to parse documents, suggest content, and answer questions. AI output may be incorrect or inappropriate. You're responsible for reviewing it before relying on it.

8.1 Food safety, allergens, nutrition and labelling

ROA is not an accredited or certified food-safety, allergen, nutrition, public-health, or labelling authority. AI output and data displayed in ROA — including allergen flags, ingredient lists, cross-contamination warnings, cooking and cooling temperatures, shelf-life and expiry estimates, HACCP-adjacent guidance, nutritional values, and dietary or medical claims — are provided for operational convenience only and must not be relied on for compliance, customer-facing claims, menu labelling, or any decision affecting health and safety.

9.Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. By using ROA you confirm you've read it.

10.Service availability

We aim for high availability but don't promise uninterrupted service. We may take the service offline for maintenance, security, or legal reasons with reasonable notice where practical.

11.Suspension and termination

  • You can terminate your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete Account.
  • We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use ROA in a way that puts us, our other users, or third parties at risk.
  • On termination we delete your data per our Retention Policy.

12.Disclaimers

ROA is provided “as is” and “as available”. Mandatory consumer rights are not affected.

13.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from or relating to ROA is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) €100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, except where such limitation is not permitted by law.

14.Indemnity

You'll indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your breach of these Terms or from Your Content infringing another party's rights.

15.Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England & Wales.

16.Changes

Material changes take effect 30 days after we notify you in-app or by email; continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
